The Dead Sea

Bordered by Jordan to the east and by Israel and Palestine to the west, the Dead Sea is a landlocked lake rather than a true sea, and is recognized, as one of the saltiest bodies of water and the lowest point on the Earth.

Its name is well earned - no fish, birds or plants can survive in its high-saline environment. Along the shores, salt build-up collects in rocky ridges, peaks and towers, and visitors find that the Dead Sea’s salty water is so buoyant that they can practically sit on its surface.

Yet its surrounding mountains hold a wealth of animals including ibex, hares, jackals, foxes and even leopards, plus hundreds of bird species.  There are nature reserves scattered around the Dead Sea.

We will be spending 12 fabulous days at a health retreat - the Ein Gedi Hotel - in the mountains 5 minutes from the Dead Sea connecting with our divine spirit, opening our hearts to self love, nurturing and supporting ourselves and each other, being held in the arms of the Ascended Masters and the Venusian Mothers, as well as travelling to some of the most exciting and divinely spiritual places on the planet – Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Sea of Galilee, Jericho and Qumran – home of the Essences and Dead Sea Scrolls.

Healing Powers

People have been visiting the Dead Sea for eons to receive healing from its powerful source energy. It is a powerful feminine Venusian healing portal that was created by the Ancient Earth Mothers to support humanity to open to love. It is a portal of receptivity and it asks you to open your heart to receive the love and beauty of your divine self.

This amazing portal supports you to be nourished and regenerated by your divine spirit. The Dead Sea also supports healing and wellbeing and has become an area for health research. The high mineral content of the water, the low content of pollens, and other allergens in the atmosphere and the reduced ultraviolet component of solar radiation combined with a higher atmospheric pressure at this great depth is said to have great health benefits. This is said to be particularly beneficial for anyone with respiratory issues, cystic fibrosis, asthma, psoriasis, rhinosinusitis and osteoarthritis.

Earth Portal Work

While the Dead Sea portal has given so much to humanity for so long, today it desperately needs a little support and love because it is in the throes of a massive ecological shift that is causing sink holes along its shores. So as we sit and receive healing and restorative energies from this beautiful loving portal we will also give our love and supportive energies to help regenerate and reactivate this ancient portal of light.

Over the 12 days we are at the Dead Sea we will create two ceremonies by the Dead Sea with the Ancient Earth Mothers, the Venusian Mothers and the Ascended Masters to activate new energy in this portal and assist Mother Earth to reconnect with the light pathways of this portal that connect it to the Venusian star light from where it draws it source energy.

Channel about the Portal

Ishtar channelled this information from The Earth Mother Kilainkaish, a Venusian heart keeper in this galaxy:

The portal of the Dead Sea holds the properties of nurture and love. It is a Venusian portal that assists mankind to reconnect with their inner wisdom and receive all they need to walk with grace on the Earth. This portal holds the properties of healing – restoration and regeneration.

It has a deep connection to the divine heart of Mother Gaia and assists all to connect with the ancient Earth Mother and receive her inner wisdom so that you may be supported on your journey on the Earth.

The Dead Sea portal assists all to open their heart to receive what they need to meet their highest potential on the Earth.

Its healing properties have already supported mankind to cleanse and rejuvenate their holy chalice to support their spirit to walk upon the Earth.

This is why the ancient Essenes and many other evolved spiritual beings have lived in this area so they would always be close to the portal of consciousness that supports them to be the holy chalice of their light on the Earth and connect to their inner wisdom with ease and grace.

Discover the purity of your light and the innocence of your heart.

We will spend 12 full days with Ishtar and the Ascended Masters and Venusian Mothers being nurtured and filled with loving support and light. During this time we will let go all limitations that block our hearts to ourselves and discover the innocent Venusian heart that we hold within us. We will learn to honor and revere this in ourselves.

Wherever we travel we will connect deeply with the spiritual energies of the location and in Qumran we will sit near the ancient caves of the Essenes and receive wisdom teachings and healing energies to restore our spirits and rejuvenate our minds.

We will visit the waters of the Dead Sea and float away our old sadness and pains, and allow ourselves to heal in the heart of this Ancient Mother who will hold us and love us.

And in deep gratitude for her gifts we will create ancient ceremonies to give thanks to her and honour her again as we support her to be restored and reconnected to her Venusian heart.

Be prepared to open not only your heart but also the pores and the cells of your body as you are pampered for 80 minutes in the Ein Gedi special spa package treatment (included in the price of the retreat).

Leave feeling pampered, massaged, oiled, relaxed and totally refreshed. Breathe deeply... Ahhhh…

Day Trips

If all of that is not tempting enough – we have planned several day trips. You can’t come to Israel without visiting Jerusalem. Enjoy an all-encompassing day tour through ancient and modern Jerusalem. Take in a panoramic view from the Mount of Olives and visit highlights of both the Old City and the New City. Your expert guide enlightens you on the area's diverse history as you discover all that Jerusalem has to offer. Visit the Mount of Olives – not only a fine viewpoint, but also an important Jewish cemetery. Enter the Old City through the Jaffa Gate. The Western Wall, or Wailing Wall, has stood for centuries and is a significant site of pilgrimage for those of the Jewish faith. Visit a site of Christian pilgrimage, too, at the Church of Holy Sepulchre, as you learn more about Jerusalem's role as a religious landmark from your guide.

Masada is one of the ancient hill top forts of the Romans but the view is worth the climb! Walk from Roman baths to King Herod’s palace, and hear the legend of the Jewish rebels who held the plateau against the Romans. We will spend half a day visiting this vantage point.

Oh little town of Bethlehem … we will have half a day visiting Bethlehem, the birthplace of Jesus. The Church of the Nativity, one of the oldest churches in the world, is the focus of Christian pilgrimage within the city. Bethlehem is revered by Jews as the birthplace and hometown of David, King of Israel, as well as the traditional site of Rachel's Tomb (on the outskirts of the town).

Wadi Qumran is home of the Essenes and the Dead Sea Scrolls. In the middle of the desert, a little above the Dead Sea, you can walk where the Essenes used to live and you can see the famous Qumran caves where the scrolls where found. Silence, beautiful landscape, and serenity will tell you much more than words. A real experience that you will never forget! We will spend a half day at this powerful site receiving wisdom teachings from the Masters who were once part of this ancient thriving spiritual community – Mary Magdalene, Lady Nada, and Mother Mary.

Located within the Israeli occupied West Bank, Jericho is one of the earliest known sites of human civilization. We will spend a half-day visiting this small city, which contains remnants of past settlements that date as far back as the Neolithic period 9,000 years ago. Hisham’s Palace, a winter palace built in 747 CE by Omayyad Caliph Hisham Ibn Abdul Malek, containing beautiful ancient mosaics, fountains, and other royal and religious buildings.

Among Holy Land sites, the Sea of Galilee has changed comparatively little since Jesus walked on its shores and recruited four fishermen as his first disciples. A picturesque, heart-shaped lake set among hills in northern Israel. We will spend a day driving to and visiting the Sea of Galilee where Jesus made the fishing town of Capernaum the centre of his itinerant ministry in Galilee, using the lake, its boats and its shores to spread his Good News. He calmed a storm; he walked on the water and probably even swam in the lake. His best-known discourse, the Sermon on the Mount, is believed to have been delivered on the Mount of Beatitudes (also known as Mount Eremos). The Heptapegon (“Seven Springs”) fishing ground off Tabgha was also the scene of a memorable post-Resurrection appearance. The apostles had fished all night with empty nets. Just after daybreak Jesus appeared and told them where to find a miraculous catch. When the apostles came ashore, they found the risen Lord had cooked breakfast for them.

10 AMAZING FACTS about the DEAD SEA SCROLLS

  1. The Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered in 11 caves along the northwest shore of the Dead Sea between the years 1947 and 1956. The area is 13 miles east of Jerusalem and is 1300 feet below sea level. The mostly fragmented texts are numbered according to the cave that they came out of. They have been called the greatest manuscript discovery of modern times.

  2. The Scrolls appear to be the library of a Jewish sect. The library was hidden away in caves around the outbreak of the First Jewish Revolt (A.D. 66-70) as the Roman army advanced against the rebel Jews.

  3. The Dead Sea Scrolls were most likely written by the Essenes during the period from about 200 B.C. to 68 C.E./A.D. The Essenes are mentioned by Josephus and in a few other sources, but not in the New testament. The Essenes were a strict Torah observant, Messianic, apocalyptic, baptist, wilderness, new covenant Jewish sect. A priest they called the “Teacher of Righteousness,” who was opposed and possibly killed by the establishment priesthood in Jerusalem, led them.

  4. In all, scholars have identified the remains of about 825 to 870 separate scrolls. The Scrolls can be divided into two categories—biblical and non-biblical. Fragments of every book of the Hebrew canon (Old Testament) have been discovered except for the book of Esther.  There are now identified among the scrolls, 19 copies of the Book of Isaiah, 25 copies of Deuteronomy and 30 copies of the Psalms. Prophecies by Ezekiel, Jeremiah and Daniel not found in the Bible are written in the Scrolls.

  5. The Isaiah Scroll, found relatively intact, is 1000 years older than any previously known copy of Isaiah. In fact, the scrolls are the oldest group of Old Testament manuscripts ever found.

  6. There are non-biblical writings along the order of commentaries on the OT, paraphrases that expand on the Law, rule books of the community, war conduct, thanksgiving psalms, hymnic compositions, benedictions, liturgical texts, and sapiential (wisdom) writings.

  7. The Scrolls are for the most part, written in Hebrew, but there are many written in Aramaic. Aramaic was the common language of the Jews of Palestine for the last two centuries B.C. and of the first two centuries A.D. The discovery of the Scrolls has greatly enhanced our knowledge of these two languages. In addition, there are a few texts written in Greek.

  8. The enemies of the Qumran community were called the "Sons of Darkness"; they called themselves the "Sons of Light," "the poor," and members of "the Way." They thought of themselves as "the holy ones," who lived in "the house of holiness," because "the Holy Spirit" dwelt with them.

  9. Although the Qumran community existed during the time of the ministry of Jesus, none of the Scrolls refer to Him, nor do they mention any of His follower's described in the New Testament.

  10. Since the late fifties, about 40% of the Scrolls remained unpublished and were not accessible. It wasn't until 1991, 44 years after the discovery of the first Scroll, after the pressure for publication mounted, that general access was made available to photographs of the Scrolls. In November of 1991 the Biblical Archaeological Society in a nonofficial edition published the photos; a computer reconstruction, based on a concordance, was announced; the Huntington Library pledged to open their microfilm files of all the scroll photographs.
